Financial Planner – Red Hook, NY (CFP® Preferred)
Join a collaborative, fee-only RIA in the scenic Hudson River Valley that values work-life balance and client-centered planning. This firm serves 220+ households—many of whom are small business owners, members of the LGBTQ community, and individuals in transition—with an emphasis on life planning and cash flow strategies.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 3–5 years of experience who’s ready to lead client conversations, present financial plans, and contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven team. You’ll work closely with high-touch clients and a tight-knit team operating on a 3-day work week. 
What you’ll do:
Split your time between preparing and presenting financial plans, facilitating life planning conversations, and working directly with the lead advisor. Tools include eMoney, Money Tree, and Redtail. Series 65 or CFP® required. 
Compensation:
$80–$100K DOE + revenue share/profit sharing, medical stipend, life insurance and PTO + holidays.
Must live within commuting distance to Red Hook, NY. Hybrid schedule, 3 days in office and 4 days next year.

A primary objective of the Financial Planning Association (FPA®) is to represent financial planners and the issues affecting your practice in Washington, D.C . To enhance our efforts, FPA-PAC was created as the federally registered political action committee of FPA. FPA-PAC is the only political action committee on Capitol Hill representing the interests of the financial planning profession.

Its mission is to support candidates for the United States Senate and House of Representatives, primarily incumbents and regardless of political party, who have demonstrated previous support of issues FPA believes critical to advance the profession, or who could be supportive in the future.
